Disclosure: I have a lot of ambivalence about blogging. You wouldn't think one could have ambivalence about writing about unmatched socks, or what I ate for lunch, but I do. I try not to think about it, just focus on writing and hopefully entertain you; your mileage may vary.
Let me take this opportunity to apologize for all the quotes I use without giving credit to original sources, and for the over-use of the words actually, probably, hopefully, apparently, clearly, and any other adverbs. Adverbs are diabolical. In addition, I beg your forgiveness for the appalling lack of semi-colons, hyphenating when I shouldn't, not hyphenating when I should, spelling out numbers inconsistently, and starting sentences with and, but, and also.
In addition, I hope having an FAQ page doesn't make me a douche canoe.
FAQ
- Will you tell me how you made that pizza cake? (I have no idea why I get so many emails about this cake.) Here's how I put it together:
large round yellow cake
tomato sauce = red frosting
green peppers = chopped green gummy worms, or bears
sausage = sliced large tootsie rolls
olives = sliced black licorice
For the pepperoni and cheese I used colored "white chocolate" that you can buy-- the little round melts that come in different colors (I hope you know what I'm talking about). Anyway, if you turn them upside-down to the flat side they make great pepperoni. Or you can use a small round cookie cutter and cut out fruit roll ups. For the cheese I just chilled the yellow "chocolate" and shaved it onto the cake.
- Would you like to place our ads on your site? Will you promote my blog, product, questionnaire, or thingamajig, if I link to you, send you free stuff, or pay you? No, although I hate to turn down free stuff. And money! I have done it in the past, but the commercial aspect of blogging just doesn't sit well with me. Any opinon about any product on this site is unpaid, unless otherwise noted. All marketing emails are deleted unread.
- Will you make me a banner? Quite possibly. I charge $50. Here are some banners I've made for other bloggers.
